Humans are social beings, which means we learn through relationships and interactions with other people. We learn, develop, and transform throughout our lives, regardless of time and space. This means that learning is not limited to school and does not only concern early stages of development.
Human learning is a complex process that depends on a series of internal and external factors. It is realized through a set of cognitive, emotional, social, and motor relationships and interactions that, in turn, allow the exchange, processing, understanding, and development of skills, experiences, knowledge, and values.
Learning as a complex process, although it depends to a large extent on the influence of the environment, is equally influenced by the identity, autonomy, and transformative capacity of the human being, as well as physical, cognitive, emotional, and social conditions, which constitute decisive mediating elements for its realization. In this sense, the learning process, its result, and the framework in which it develops and is applied are complex. Therefore, actions focused on learning development should respond to the complexity of reality, in order to be effective.
Psychopedagogical intervention responds to events, situations, and problems related to learning, development, and social action in various contexts. Beyond learning difficulties, all people need support at any moment in their lives.
