Dr. Danae Deligeorges studied at the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology (Φ.Π.Ψ.) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She completed her postgraduate studies in America, obtaining a MA in Gifted Education and Support Emotional Needs from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, where she remained for several years and worked, focusing on guiding and supporting gifted children and adults.
In 2022, she was awarded a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
- She has training and certification as a counselor/coordinator of parent groups of gifted and talented children from SENG (Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted)
- She is among the few in Europe and the only one in Greece who holds certification from Linda Kreger Silverman, Ph.D., and the Gifted Development Center (GCD) for Developmental Recognition Oes
- She holds international certification and approval for the use of the World Game as a measurement and assessment tool.
From 2010 until 2015, the year she returned to Greece, she collaborated with the Hellenic American Academy in Chicago.
In 2019, she collaborated with IEK Morphé – KEPANSY in Heraklion, Crete, conducting training seminars for educators, as well as talks on Giftedness for parents and educators.
Since 2020, she has been teaching the course "Introduction to Giftedness" in the Postgraduate Studies Program of Adolescent Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She conducts training seminars for educators and health professionals on the topic of giftedness and neurodivergence.
